Four year letterman at San Clemente High School and two time all league in the South Coast League.
While in high school Braden played for the Southern California Renegades and helped lead them to becoming the Connie Mack World Series Champions in 2012.
After high school Braden attended Chapman University and spent his Freshmen year as a starting Pitcher. Tossing 82.2 innings with a 2.72 ERA and 56 strike outs. Posted a 6-3 record with 2 complete games, and setting a single game school record for a 10 inning complete game shutout against Hardin-Simmons with 10 k's!
Received Rookie of the Year award Freshmen Year.
In the following years at Chapman Braden found a new role as the closer and starter. Received All Conference award for the SCIAC Conference.
Following his College Career he helped run elite training at Redline Athletics and began coaching shortly after.
Braden is now the Youth Program Director of Orange County as well as a roving coach for all levels.
